At Design Web Services, we value your memories and will look after your needs to transfer your memories onto DVD. Our transfers are high quality so that you can cherish them for many years to come, without having the image deteriorate in any way.

We specialise in the following:

• VHS transferred to DVD
• Video 8 transferred to DVD

We only use Verbatim DVD’s as they are high quality and will play back on any DVD player or recorder.

So as to keep a high quality, we only transfer a maximum of 2 hours from your VHS or Video 8 tape onto DVD. If the tape is longer than 2 hours then another DVD will need to be made. Please allow for the extra cost if your tapes are more than 2 hours long.

Editing your tape: If you need your VHS or Video 8 tape edited an additional cost will apply. You may wish to combine more than one tape onto one DVD, providing it is no longer than 2 hours. Click here to view the applicable rates for this service.

Please note that the tape must be positioned at the exact point where you want the tape transfer to commence and also advise the tape counter time is to finish. An order form will need to be completed so as to minimise any confusion. If there are no instructions then the entire tape will be transferred onto DVD.

Delivery time: Normally you will need to allow approximately 5 working days from the receipt of you sending the tapes. If you are sending many tapes, then this may add an extra day or so but will not be any longer than this.

VHS is old technology: VHS tapes only have a limited shelf life, which is why it is advisable to transfer your images onto DVD which will last a life time.
